On Wednesdays, we wear pink!

Despite what the silly groundhog says (or rather predicts since groundhogs don't talk), it seems to me that Spring is right around the corner. And my favorite Spring obsession this year is pink...fuchsia pink.

If some of you are shocked, trust me I get it.  I have never really been a huge pink fan myself; it always seemed kind of a juvenile color to me.  But, this year designers (including myself) are finding ways to make pink  sophisticated, modern and elegant.

My personal favorite pink trend is to wear it as an accessory.  All white ensembles and floral prints seem to be all the trend this year, and I think a pop of pink would be the perfect accent.  You can go bold and wear statement earrings, or be more delicate with a simple necklace.

Another option is to add pink to your Spring wardrobe.  Designers like For Love & Lemons and Elizabeth and James offer great pink pieces.  Here are a few of my favorite hot pink pieces:

Love the brightness of this For Love & Lemons dress! Perfect for a date night or girls night out!

I absolutely adore this Elizabeth and James skirt.  It's sexy without showing too much skin.  And I think the pink adds the perfect feminine touch.  Would love to pair this dress with a soft floral silk blouse and Stuart Weitzman nudi…

Can't you just see yourself at Sunday brunch in this blouse, white skinny jeans, and cute sandals.  I have an obsession with silk blouses, and just love the color of this one!

I wouldn't suggest though mixing pink accessories with pink attire.  You don't want to go on pink overload and accidentally look like Elle Woods from Legally Blonde!  If you choose to wear a pink dress or blouse, I think best to accessorize with simple gold jewelry.

Well, thanks for reading my blog!  Hope you guys have a great Valentine's day weekend!

XoXo,
