10 Gift Ideas for Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is right around the corner. Many of us can't visit our mothers right now in these strange times, but that doesn't mean we can't send them something nice and let them know we're thinking of them. I want to give you a good variety of ideas that range from helping small businesses to being budget friendly. Here are my top ten best gift ideas for Mother's Day.

1. Williamson Wine

Let’s face it: times are tough right now. Sometimes a nice bottle of wine (or two) can help a person unwind and relax.  Williamson Wines is one of my favorites.  I've never had a bottle from them that wasn’t spectacular, and they're a small business located in Healdsburg, CA.  If your mom likes wine, then she will definitely enjoy a gift from this fantastic winery!

2. Box Chain Bracelet

Know a mama with a timeless, classic style? This may be the perfect gift for her.  It goes with everything, won't ever go out of style, and she will never have to take it off!

3. Spa Day Gift Card

At this point most of us are realizing how much we miss our hair stylists, estheticians, manicurists, etc. These businesses are suffering more than many in these times, so a gift card to your mother's favorite spa or hair salon will help them out and give your mama the chance to get pampered when all this quarantining is over.

4. Mother Mary Necklace

This necklace has been one of my best sellers for a while, and it always makes the Mother’s Day gift guide. If your mom loves dainty, feminine jewelry, this necklace may be the perfect special gift for her!

5. Flower Delivery

Mother’s Day. Order from your mom's local florist and arrange a delivery. Staying home can be hard but you can brighten up her home with some bright, happy flowers.

6. Initial Necklace

This is a perfect gift for new moms!  This dainty necklace can be a constant reminder of her beautiful baby and her special new role in life.  The best part is that she can wear it 24/7 without having to worry about it tarnishing or breaking.

7. Laguna Candle from Garage Collective

This one is more for my local community. Garage Collective is a great local store with lots of cute goodies for the home. (They do ship and have an online store, so check them out even if you're not local.)  If your mom loves the beach and misses feeling sand between her toes, This candle will bring the beach feeling to her!

8. See’s Candy

See’s is my favorite gourmet candy, and I was so sad they had to close before I could stock up on all my Easter goodies.  They now have select locations open for picking up an order, and their online store is open as well. If your mama is a chocolate lover, then she will sure love a box  (or two) of See's.

9. Homemade Card

If you are on a tight budget and can’t really afford to buy a gift, then a homemade card would make the perfect gift.  Get in touch with your creative side and show your mama how much you love her. If you're not feeling creative, you can even just write her a nice letter. Tell her how much she means to you in whatever way you can. Sincere feelings always make the perfect gift!

10. Framed Family Photo

Another great and affordable gift that your mom will definitely love is a framed picture of the two of you, your whole family, the grandkids, or any nice family photo. A mother can never have too many photos of her kids , and putting it in a beautiful frame will be the cherry on top!

I hope these gift ideas have inspired you to get your mom something special this year. A thoughtful gift will make both of you feel more connected in these isolated times.

XoXo,

Caitlin
