Recap of My First Style Collective Meet Up
Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending my first Style Collective event. I first heard about Style Collective last year and instantly fell in love with the company! I'm so grateful to be part of a community with like-minded creators that support each other!
This was my first blogger meet up, so I was a little nervous to attend. I have only been blogging for about a year, and with my crazy schedule, my blog has not always been consistent. But right when I walked through the door, all my jitters went away. It was so great to meet all the other members and share our blogging experiences over some yummy food and cocktails. The best part was there was even an amazing professional photographer (Shawna Henrie with Bleudog Fotography) there to capture the moments instead of us always having to be on our phones!
The even took place and the beautiful Mesa Restaurant in Costa Mesa. It was the perfect place for the meet up because it had a beautiful ambiance, great cocktails and delicious food! My favorite dish from that night was the pizza and the shrimp! If you ever have a chance to go, I highly recommend ordering either of those!
The icing on the cake of that evening was the goodie bags! I'm a huge sucker for goodie bags because who doesn't love amazing gifts! But this one, blew me away! It was filled with amazing jewelry, skin care products, cell phone accessories and even wine! I was lucky enough to take home a bottle of Middle Sisters pinot noir and these beautiful flower arrangements by Shawna Henrie from Bleudog Floral.
It was such an amazing event, and I'm so appreciative of all the relationships that I made through Style Collective. No matter what field of work you're in or what dreams you are chasing after, I strongly suggest joining a group of like-minded people to help encourage and inspire you!
